Bayer Leverkusen completed the signing of the Ezequiel Fernandez midfielder from Al Qadsiah – despite the dismissal Erik Ten Hag a few hours earlier.
The former boss of United Ten Hag was relieved of his duties of the German club Monday morning after only two Bundesliga games in charge.
Leverkusen lost 2-1 at home against Hoffenheim on the day of opening the season, before shooting 3-3 in Werder Bremen on Saturday.

The Champions of Bundesliga 2023/24 were 3-1 upwards but conceded two goals to 10 Bremen men in the last 15 minutes.
On Monday, after significant speculation about his future in the previous 24 hours, Leverkusen confirmed that they had separated with ten hag.
Only five hours after this announcement, the club confirmed Fernandez’s signing on a five -year contract.

Leverkusen paid for the Saudi Saudi Pro Al-Qadsiah club an amount of 30 million euros to sign the 22-year-old midfielder, as well as the additional modules, in accordance with Florian Prettenberg, Germany of Sky Sports.
A 10% sales clause was also included in the agreement.
Why does Leverkusen sacke ten hag?
The German club’s decision to dismiss ten HAG – despite the uncertainty about its future – seems to have been a relatively sudden call.

But in the aftermath of their 3-3 draw in Bremen, Captain Robert Andrich produced a brutal attack on his own teammates, saying to journalists: “We have too many people who are concerned about other things, too many of those who are concerned about themselves, and that is what the game looked like. Everyone played for themselves.”
Andy Brassell of the Guardian, on the other hand, described Leverkusen as “being”truly atrocious“During the defeat of Hoffenheim and noted how the key figures of the club, including the sports director Fernando Carro, had not succeeded in publicly retreating ten hag despite the opportunity to do so.
The Dutchman will now seek his third club in less than 12 months after his dismissal from United November – but if he decides to take a long break in the match after this debacle remains to be seen.
