Paul Merson, the former Arsenal midfielder and Middlesbrough, also commented on the images.

“Dalot and Fernandes … They celebrate as if they had won the World Cup,” he said on Sky football on Saturday. “I haven’t seen people going so crazy when they win the World Cup.”
